Cardio

Group cycling, circuits, intervals: cardio varies the intensity to build endurance. In class, the music sets the pace; on the cardio floor, you set your own.

The practice

Keepgoing,varythepace

Cardio means sustaining an effort over time, at varying intensity. Some formats focus on endurance, others alternate short efforts with recovery.

In a group, the coach and the music set the tempo. On your own, on the cardio floor, you move at your own pace.

Formats

  1. 01

    Group cycling

An indoor cycling class to music, with changes in pace and resistance.

  2. 02

    Circuits

A sequence of stations that works the whole body.

  3. 03

    Intervals

Short, intense efforts with recovery time in between.

01

Build endurance

Keeping an effort going for longer comes step by step. Classes offer varied intensities so you can progress without rushing.

02

Vary the intensity

Alternating calmer and harder sessions lets you move often without always pushing hard. Pick the format of the day.

03

Move as a group

The music, the coach and the group give you momentum: a good way to keep coming back.
